It was a powerful exercise and I continue to revisit it when I am feeling less than fierce in my own skin, mind, and life. So take a deep breath and lets dive in ..
Journal Prompt .04
Set up your writing space- clear the air, light a candle, rid your space of distractions. Take a couple deep breaths and tune inward. Begin to write out every fear that can come to mind leaving a some space under each fear to write in later. List it all with no judgement. This part I actually thought over a few days- coming back to it and adding when I thought of a new one. I realized I carried a lot of fear within me that I wasn't even aware of! Once you complete your list- one by one, re-read your list and as you read each fear, beneath it in a different color write 'I see you, thank you, I release you'. Let each one sink in. And at the end thank it all and release it as a whole.
This isn't a one time exercise- this is a get out and keep revisiting it when you need it type exercise. But this is one that is healing over time and goodto recall when a 'fear-attack' hits. And remember, we are all in this together, we all have our crap to churn, and fears to drudge up- but this is where the best healing happens!
