Join AyurBabe Janae Christopher, Yoga Teacher, Ayurveda Yoga Specialist, and Radical Self Love Trailblazer for this two hour journey into your Elemental Body. Ayurveda provides insight to our unique and magnificent human form through the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether, and recognizes that each of us is created from a unique combination of these five. Body Freedom is all about understanding these unique differences and how they affect our digestion, metabolism, and even the way that we view food and our body. In a culture that prizes one body type over another and encourages lifestyles that don’t always support our overall well being this workshop is about empowerment and ownership of your beautiful bod!

So what is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the 5,000 year old sister science of Yoga that originated and is still used in Mother India today. Ayurveda translates to the ‘Science of Life’, or ‘Wisdom of Life’, and teaches us that what is around us is also within us- the human body and mind is an extension of Mama Earth and all of her beauty. At the heart of Ayurvedic wisdom lies the power of Agni, our inner fire that regulates all transformations within our body from digestion, assimilation, and cell regeneration and it is believed that if one has strong Agni they have vibrant health! By understanding our elemental make up {constitution} we are better able to kindle the Agni, nourish the body, and create vibrant healthy lives.
